Learn how to verify your email address to activate your Kalism partner account and start managing your salon.

Verifying Your Email Address

After creating your account, you need to verify your email address to activate all partner features and ensure account security.

Why Email Verification Matters

Email verification is required to:

  • Activate your account - Access all partner portal features
  • Secure your account - Prevent unauthorized access
  • Enable notifications - Receive booking confirmations and important updates
  • Reset password - Recover access if you forget your password

Verification Process

Step 1: Check Your Inbox

After registration, we send a verification email to the address you provided:

  • Subject: "Welcome to Kalism!"
  • From: noreply@kalism.com
  • Delivery time: Usually arrives within 1-2 minutes

Step 2: Open the Verification Email

The email contains:

  • A welcome message with your registered email
  • A verification link or button
  • Instructions for completing verification
  • Link to resend the email if needed

Step 3: Click the Verification Link

  • Click the "Verify Email" button in the email
  • You'll be redirected to the Kalism website
  • A success message confirms your email is verified
  • You're automatically logged in and redirected to complete your profile

Verification Link Expiration

Verification links are valid for 24 hours for security reasons.

If your link has expired:

  1. Go to the login page
  2. Click "Forgot Password?"
  3. Enter your email address
  4. Check your inbox for a new verification email

Troubleshooting

I didn't receive the verification email

Check your spam/junk folder

  • Gmail: Check "Promotions" or "Spam" tabs
  • Outlook: Check "Junk Email" folder
  • Apple Mail: Check "Junk" folder

Add our email to your safe senders

  • Add noreply@kalism.com to your contacts
  • Mark the email as "Not Spam" if found in spam folder

Wait a few minutes

  • Email delivery can sometimes be delayed
  • Wait 5-10 minutes before requesting a new email

Request a new verification email

  1. Visit Forgot Password
  2. Enter your registered email address
  3. Click "Send recovery email"
  4. Check your inbox again

The verification link doesn't work

Link expired

  • Verification links expire after 24 hours
  • Request a new verification email using the steps above

Browser issues

  • Try opening the link in a different browser
  • Clear your browser cache and cookies
  • Disable browser extensions temporarily

Link formatting issue

  • Ensure the entire URL was copied if you're pasting it
  • Try clicking directly from the email instead of copying

I'm using a corporate email

Some corporate email systems may:

  • Block emails from unknown senders
  • Delay email delivery
  • Strip verification links for security

Solutions:

  • Contact your IT department to whitelist noreply@kalism.com
  • Use a personal email address instead
  • Ask IT to check their email gateway logs

Alternative Verification Methods

If email verification continues to fail:

Contact Support

  • Email: support@kalism.com
  • Include your registered email address
  • Describe the issue you're experiencing
  • We can manually verify your account

After Verification

Once your email is verified:

  1. ✅ Your account is fully activated
  2. 📧 You can receive booking notifications
  3. 🔐 Password reset is enabled
  4. ⚙️ All partner features are unlocked

First Login → Onboarding Wizard

  • After verification and first login, you'll be automatically redirected to the Onboarding Wizard
  • The wizard will guide you through 4 steps: company info → billing (free) → salon setup → review
  • Your first salon is created during this wizard—there's no separate "add salon" step at this stage
  • The wizard collects only basic info; services, photos, and detailed settings come later

Common Questions

Can I change my email address later? No. Your email address is the unique identifier for your account and cannot be changed at this time.

What if I used the wrong email? Create a new account with the correct email address. Contact support to delete the old account.

Do I need to verify every time I log in? No, email verification is a one-time process. You only need to verify again if you change your email address.
