Setting Opening Hours
Opening hours are automatically derived from the working hours of the employees assigned to the salon. Your salon is considered “open” on a given day only when at least one employee has working hours for that salon.
How It Works
- Salon open days are determined by employee schedules. If no employee is scheduled on Monday, the salon is closed on Monday.
- Effective opening hours for a day are the combined (union) of all employees’ working hours assigned to that salon.
- Booking availability matches the employees who are actually scheduled. Even if the salon appears open, clients can only book time slots covered by at least one employee.
Set Or Change Opening Hours (via Employee Schedules)
- Go to Salons in your dashboard
- Select the salon you want to configure
- Open an employee profile who works at the salon
- Set their working hours for each day
- Save changes
Repeat for each employee whose availability should determine the salon’s open hours.
Examples
- No employees scheduled on Monday → Salon is closed on Monday
- Employee A: 09:00–13:00, Employee B: 14:00–18:00 → Salon appears open 09:00–18:00; bookings only in slots covered by A or B
- Owner’s hours also count (the owner is an employee of the salon)
Tips
- Keep employee schedules up to date to avoid “closed” days
- Use split shifts to reflect midday breaks
- For temporary closures, clear employee hours for that day or deactivate the relevant employee
